Scale of an atom - empty space

Pretty neat...one pixel in that picture is an electron, and if you scroll all the way to the right there is one proton.

What's all the empty space? Nothing. Seriously, it's nothing. So...how come the mouse you are holding is so solid? Ahhhh....try not to think about it =)
